  • The property type and approximate age of the plumbing
  • Access arrangements and urgency

Exclusions and specialist requirements

Gas work — boilers, gas pipes and gas appliances — must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer; where a project needs gas work we arrange a registered engineer rather than doing it ourselves. Work on shared supply pipes in flats can need the freeholder's or managing agent's involvement.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do emergency call-outs?
Contact us with the problem and we will tell you honestly how quickly we can attend. For active leaks, turning off the stopcock limits the damage while you wait.
Can you replace my old copper cylinder?
Yes — we replace cylinders and tanks, including advising on vented versus unvented options. Unvented cylinders must be installed by an appropriately qualified engineer, which we arrange.
Do you fix boilers?
Boiler work is gas work and must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We can arrange this as part of a wider project but do not carry out gas work ourselves.
